Description
Hi, My name is Afrah and I have been a carer for a year, whereby I’ve worked at a range of residential care homes with individuals whom have had a stroke, or have Alzheimer’s/ Parkinson’s. I am also currently a teacher assistant, and worked and supported a range of kids who have different needs, such as non-verbal children, autism, ADHD and many more. Working with vulnerable individuals is challenging, however there is nothing more fulfilling than knowing I’ve been able to help them. Truly a joy and a heart-warming experience!
